Sujet M-Audio Fast Track Pro Malfunction

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Greetings,

I've been fighting to get this to work. It has in the past.

With "Headphones" on channels 3/4 I get audio from channels 1/2. Put PFL ON and get no CUE. I don't get what went wrong. I reloaded the M-Audio driver.

Stumped!

Any suggestions PLEASE !!!!!

As you can see in your screenshot at the last column, the M-Audio connected with only 2 channels available (2o), that is why your headphones on channels 3&4 don't work.
If drivers are correctly installed, there are probably 3 options that should work:
1) In windows audio device properties, make sure the M-Audio is set for quadrophonic sound instead of Stereo
2) In VirtualDJ enable the option exclusiveAudioAccess
3) Install and/or select the M-Audio ASIO drivers instead of WASAPI (if available)

UUH OHH... Windows 10 issue. I suppose I just have to throw it out. It worked well with Windows 7.

Windows Releases (click on a version # to download that installer) •6.1.11 •Jan 19. 2016
•This is the final driver release for the Fast Track Pro
•Qualified with Windows 7, 8, 8.1
Note that Windows 10 (or later) is not compatible and will not be qualified
•Fixed noise or pops/clicks when streaming with Fast Track Pro's S/PDIF output enabled

You tried if their windows 8 asio driver doesn't work on windows 10?

I tried the ASIO4ALL driver, but it doesn't allow Channels 3 & 4. Haven't found any for the Fast Track Pro on the M-Audio site yet.
