after going to my gp for a checkup. the waiting room was all full of sneezing and coughing kids. im like oh no. next day is day one of hell. middle ear infections are no joke. and after going to hopsital saturnight night (in germany for pain all you get is ibuprofen) i hada little tube put in my ear. the pain is gone. but so is some hearing and a massive ringing. i always have had tinnitus. thats why i love vdj. i dont use headphones to mix. just to check for a few seconds what the sound of the track i want to pick fits. SO does anyone use and can suggest earplugs. that i can still hear the music properly. and not mess my hearing up after this scary? my speakers are not loud. just krk 7s, and the harmon kardon soundsticks. and i never go past the halfway mark. i havent been to a club in ages. but the good clubs no matter how long you dance. (remember twilo or any of the big clubs in nyc) my evers never rang. yes i had bits and peices of songs stuck in my head.. but thats good house music.

I've been using Elacin ER-15 for years now, would definitely recommend them.

Its one of those things where you just have to try it out for yourself.
I use some cheapo foam plugs from time to time and sounds are just quieter for me.
It feels good going home at the end of the night and your ears aren't ringing.

Just go to your local hearing aid store and ask them hearing protection.
They'll custom make one for you. And it is possible to choose between different filters.
I had one made for me too and they fit 100% perfect. Even after hours of wearing them no pain or something.
