If i had to reloop pad controllers can i have control over different pads. Like my vci400 has 8 pads per channel can i have different pad setting on each of the reloop controllers?

Do you mean if you had two Reloop controllers? And do you mean the Neon pad controllers? If so, then yes. They run independently of each other and can be in different modes on different decks, or even different modes on the same decks.

Hmmmm... No.

Currently each deck can have only ONE padmode.
Therefore you can't have two controllers with pads assigned on the same deck and their pads perform different actions.
You can only have multiple controllers assigned to different decks and their pads performing independently.

Or you could manually make a fixed map for the pads of one of the controllers that you don't need to change so often.

I use a work around, I find it useful to have a page devoted to jumps and hotcues when prepping new tracks.

To do this I have the usual hotcue page on deck 1 and on deck 2 I've written a jump page with all the jump commands directed to deck 1.

So thinking outside the box, you could declare invisible decks, link your auxiliary HW to one of the invisible decks and have that padpage linked to a visible deck.

The only issue is you can't see the invisible padpage so you have to learn the page by colour. It may take some practice but once you're used to it, it really helps your work flow.
