I have a filter folder setup with that script so when I add new tracks I know what was added.
Anyways even after I have scanned everything there is always tracks in there??
I've cleaned the database yet titles still remain.
With 7 once I scanned this folder it would be empty, so my question is
Why are there always track titles there no matter what i do??

I use this script and it seems to work well.
type = audio and isscanned = 0 and exists = 1
type = audio and isscanned = 0 and exists = 1

I have all my tracks in one folder, so i then just sort by bpm and then the new ones are all at the bottom. But could you not set up a filter folder which says "bpm < 1" would that not work in theory ?

So probably the files no longer exist then.
Doing a database cleanup should remove these entries.

Huey already stated he had cleaned the database.
At least he could try the script above with the exists variable to see if it makes a difference.

Mac or PC?
Which tracks aren't scanned .... some or all of them, new ones or ones added previously?
Are they all in the same folder, is it a read/write issue?
This isscanned = 0 should just work.

I'll just make a video because it's hard to describe.
All I know is I scan that folder and the tracks don't disappear so I'm gonna have to check the tags and see if they even exist.
At work now so it'll be later tonight.

I had a weird one where tracks that were originally on C that got moved to M, wouldn't clean, to fix I had to edit at xml level, but that was the early days of v8
