I am using an HP Envy with VDJ 8.2 and a Denon MC6000 MK2 . I am running into an issue of distorted sound. At one event it ran well for 4 hours and then all of a sudden I had a song playing that was extremely over modulated. Last night on the 3rd song I played same problem.
Any advice would be appreciated .

Are you using the Denon ASIO drivers .... if so then try increasing the latency from the Denon control panel and restart VDJ.

I have had that problem before. Tried everything including the latency.
What finally worked for me was the "zeroDB" setting. I changed it to "-3dB"
Seems that VDJ was clipping internally, not at the controller, causing the crackling and distortion.
Hope that helps you.

In the settings do you have "exclusive audio access" turned on? if so turn it off. If you need it turned on to stop other sounds then you have to manually find the right sample rate setting to work with your audio interface, which I am assuming is integrated into controller.
