Is this unit still a viable option (Vestax VCI-400)??

I know Vestax is no more but the unit itself was solid.

Thoughts and opinions please......

Faders, buttons and pots may be difficult to find exact replacements.

Pretty solidly built and capable. But lacks of rgb pads
 
Rgb as in colored pads?? If so that doesn't mean very much as my SP1 doesn't have them either.

Can this be used with timecodes when used with VDJ??
 
I believe so bro they released a firmware update that let you do that. Don't quote me on that but I believe that's correct. You will probably have to do your research to find the firmware download
