After doing a night close VDJ and its sort of still there in the task bar , and cant use Windows start button or anything have to force power off. It's only after doing a set, if I just open and close Vdj it will close normally..

Try this..
Whatever sound card you are using in Audio Setup of VirtualDJ, make sure its not the default sound card of your Operating System for both playback and recording.

Oh yeah the default soundcard was XDJ-R1, don't know if will fix the closing issue til the end of the night though

That seems to have fixed it, last 4 nights it closed properly
