I go to play a song, the mixer fader on vdj8 on screen is moving. or I guess you can say its shadow fading. jumping back an forth. the slider itself is stationary. until the shadow lines up with it then it moves, can't control it from controller

Make sure you are using the factory default mapping. If the issue is still there, then probably its a faulty fader or just needs some cleaning. Please contact Denon to get technical assistance.
