Anybody on here ever done a H.S. Dance Marathon? I have been asked by a local school about doing one.
My question is what to charge?
I have done 3 hour benefits for no charge before but these events can last 12 to 24 hours.

What to charge? It all depends. Is this a charitable event? I have done Relay For Life marathons for free, but I have to do the prom. Or you can charge them $1200.00 and donate a portion back. If I'm going to give you a break, have to get something in return. Sometimes, it's just a great possibility to get more work. A 500 person Cancer Society affair, I may charge $1500.00 and give half or all of it back as a donation. However, I am exposed to 500 people that have other events.
