Let me begin with in no way should this post be taken in any other context than cordial and curious about why I feel I have to apologize so often! When I bought the infinity software it was my understanding that all forums were available to me. The reserved forum was, after all, in my list of forums as full access! There was no warning that this was off limits, that I had to earn posting rights or any indication of any kind that I was somehow going to be treated with distain if I used it! This is reminiscent of the record pool days when some members were insulted if you so much as smiled at them! I posted some mp3 enhancements that I had hoped would be beneficial to those who were perceiving software glitches when in fact they were not! However, instead of explaining to me my error in a cordial fashion, if in fact it was an error, simply blocked me out of the forum and left my post in limbo. Now that's what I call a legend! No explanation, no "Sorry Calvin the Reserved forum is for the brass only!" That would have been rude enough! I thought, maybe its just me! So I read enough of the posts to see there is a definite echelon of condescension in the ranks so I will refrain from future posts of any kind! Lastly I would say, in a positive note, that Virtual DJ software is truly
outstanding! That will be all I need! Oh yeah, If there are those who are offended somehow by my post and feel the need to respond, I sorry, this phone is no longer in service!
Respectfully disillusioned,
DJ Cal "CJ" Locke

You must have using Content Unlimited at some point in time in order for you to post in that forum.
Anyways its not that big of a deal, just open a new thread and rewrite what you wrote. Problem solved??

There is a post here which those who are not signed in will not be able to see. There are many different levels of user and some can see much more than others.
@ AMAHM Oh I see yet again..it's that funny joke thing.
How about just being a professional moderator, or is that too hard?
I can go and see a comedian if I want a laugh.

Interesting comments from a full time technician who would like to try out the latest ideas in a big venue (which I do !), and a computer programmer who does his research on a desktop.
Are you sure you're both qualified to judge a DJ who works on a wide variety of equipment with many different combinations of video displays including large screen TV's, projectors, small karaoke monitors and of course the working laptop?

Just pointing out the hypocrisy Ron.
And yes, over the years the things I have worked on have been displayed in small to large venues indoors and outdoors for the likes of Disney and IBM to name a few. Have also worked with Microsoft in the early years of windows doing drivers, going thru a number of graphics engines with them, etc.. Not to mention the work done in Hollywood with animators, sound engineers, producers, celebrities, and the all the fancy equipment that does with that.
All you can dwell on is the little world of Ron which is fine. You yell out what you think is expertise but have yet to see it in your comments. I am sure you are a performer that is at ease with an audience and I am not. I could not do that and would not try to but it is not brain science with the things you point out. I also know enough to know that I have a lot to learn yet and the learning will never stop.

So do I..+1
I appreciate the diverse skill sets displayed in this forum, you, Mr Jackson, Phantom, and Adion plus many others are excellent sources of knowledge. That does not mean I will not argue my point.

You should always argue your point if you have one. I think it should always be civil but it is not always. I have sort of come to the conclusion that when people have to resort to name calling they have nothing left to say. You (anyone) should also be receptive when you are wrong.
