Good evening all,

Is there any way that in the future we will be able to use animated gifs for a video logo?

On windows you have been able to use animated gifs and much more using TellyMedia and TellyVisuals for many years for logos or whatever. Although I would favor videos with transparency or animated png which are supported in TellyMedia. If trying to use animated gifs that include transparency they only have one level of transparency which is kind of crude. If transparency is not an issue then gifs are fine.

+1 on what Don said - that's what I use nightly

you can also use animated video clips in the sampler to play back logos of different video types as well. but you will need to create the logo first and either have a transparent edit of the video clip or use the transparency setting in the sampler editor.

You can size and position the logo in the layout tab of TM. You can also set various items to loop, or to display more than just your logo in the automatic modes. TellyVisuals gives you more layout control and can display animated gif and some other image formats but does do not video yet (except the VDJ video). The prime version of TV allows you to 3D rotate your images as well. An image in TV can be a loaded image such as gif, png, etc... or the VDJ video. Every panel in TV can have it's own image, color, and borders, and other special info. You can have as many panels as you want.

I got distracted recording... but it's 25 panel. 24 of them rotating in different directions... but it could easily be images, or text in each one.
