I tried to set manual loops but it keeps defaulting to a 2 beat loop and not at the part of the song I want it.
Please help, can manual loops be saved?

You you try to do manual loops, but you feel like they always turn out to be matched to beat lengths, it could be because smart loop it turned on:

Yes, the saved loops function (and pad page) doesn't care how the loop has been created
And if you then trigger it later on, it will still be manual and out of sync/beat, even if the smart loop function has been re-activated
