having a hard time completing the installation of denon 4500 midi controller to virtual7 pro. settings are input:NONE output: EXTERNAL MIXER and sound card is ASIO.
it will begin installing then stop with a pop up: something not connected or not the right sound settings. also, something about the script. is there anything else i should be doing? i have also updated the firmware and driver.

On what operating system?
The 4500 is old. VDJ 7 is old. If you're trying to do this on a computer with a new OS then it could be an incompatibility (driver too old).
