I have a windows 10 laptop,high spec 64bit. im running virtual dj 8 ,with an audio 2 dj and Hercules dj control steel. the problem im having id the Hercules doesn't work with it.what am I doing wrong. I have virtual dj6 on another laptop which works fine with my controller

Did you first verified that the Steel is correctly installed and working as a MIDI controller outside of VDJ ?

Also, since your new computer is fitted with USB 3.0 ports, It is possible that your DJ controller may not be recognized and used properly.
If this seems to be the case, try either or both of the following solutions:
- Try using a shorter, well-shielded USB cable (a maximum of 3.3 feet/1 meter in length);
- Try placing a powered USB hub (using and external power supply) between the console and the DJ controller.
