I'm trying out a Pioneer DDJ RB controller, which I'm happy with, but after 2/3 plays can see that I want more facilities from the controller
My question is If I do the Home plus specific controller upgrade can I then upgrade to a better controller without having to pay the full price ? When I can afford a better controller

no that license is only for the controller you purchase it for and there is no upgrading as far as i know.
