Sujet Help with DVS setup on VDJ2018

Hi guys,

I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone & start scratching with a DVS setup. I have a pair of AT 1200s, a Pioneer DDJ SX3 & a pair of the VDJ timecode vinyl records but I'm having trouble getting it set up.

I've got the plugins plugged into CH2, both set to Phono & the input set to "Timecode" from the audio section of the setup in VDJ, but when I try to calibrate it, I get nothing out of it. I try to load up a song to that deck & it just says mute on the screen.

Could anyone please help point me in the right direction? I've been trying to search but I haven't had a ton of luck yet.

I hadn't seen that, that definitely helps.

Now I can get signal & its calibrated, but how do I get it to let me load a song to that deck & use the vinyl to get it to play a digital song? It still says mute & won't let me load to that deck

edit: I think I figured it out; I don't set the slider to phono/line, just to the USB. It seems to be working now! Thanks!

So odd problem now - I came back to play with it today & it's reading it as a square wave & when I try to calibrate it, it says it doesn't know this timecode. Whut?

Edit - I took it off, tossed a regular vinyl on to check the needle and make sure it was reading it correctly, it was, took it back to the timecode vinyl & now its working fine. Weird, I don't really know why lol
