Hi Guys
Hope all is well.
So, I've had my VMS5 for around 2 years now. All is great, but I just want to explore other controllers. I just wanted to ask if anyone has any experience with either the Pioneer Ddj rr or the Ddj sr2?
I'm looking at one of these as, having had experience with Pioneer cdjs in the past, the brand always delivers! They are similar price too, and can be used with VDJ which is a must for me.
Has anyone used both and does anyone know the main differences from use and experiencing the controller physically (rather than me looking through tech specs on the website only)?
I have read the sr2 has all the features of the rr but is a newer controller
Many thanks in advance
Ben
Edit: I also know that the rr is for rekordbox and the sr2 is serato...

Both are supported for quite long time and a lot of VirtualDJ users use them without any issues.
So it's more a matter of personal preference and small functionality differences.
You can check out the on-line manuals for both units to get a clue about their functionality with VirtualDJ and their differences compared to each other:
