Hi, first time user here. I'm using the traktor s2 and when I press play, the track is not playing but then if I hold shift the track will play until I let go of shift. Then if I press play again and hold shift it doesn't play. It only seems to play when I hold down shift and the track should be playing. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Really weird. The PLAY button on the Traktor S2 is mapped as .. play_pause and more weird is that the SHIFT+PLAY is mapped to turn Keylock (Master Tempo) on/off.
Can you check in Controllers tab if the S2 is using the "factory default" mapping and if not how the PLAY button is mapped ?
I am not familiar with older NI devices, but i think there is some Controller Editor with which you can change the MIDI Channels and MIDI Notes/CC ? If so, perhaps you could try to see if you can revert to factory settings or else the default mapping will be a mess.
