No. The skin defines 2 fonts (one for MAC and one for PC) that should be standard on any modern MAC/PC
On MAC it defines "San Francisco" which is the default OS font since El Capitan I believe, and in Windows it defines "Segoe UI" which is the default font since Windows 7

Mmmmh,
may be that it is so defined at the OS level.
But with the "Default-Skin of VDJ" it is displayed correctly - in MAC-OS.

SilverSleek3 or Vector do not display correctly.
(Picture 2)

This is probably not due to the OS?

I seem to be having a problem with the "album" custom button. I have tested it several times; but it does not seem to be locating additional songs from the same album. The "artist" custom button works just fine. Still enjoying the flexibility of this skin

Which version of MAC OS X are you using ?

And the selected track on browser has album info filled ?
The "Album" button reads the album tag of the selected track and searches for it.
Also it's needless to say that on your search options you need to enable "Album" as search field (click on the small dot next to search field to see and modify your current search fields - in other words where VirtualDJ should search)

Hi,
Okay, just don't have numbers on the lines.
Please describe the position of the desired changes differently.
"San Francisco" found, but in several places.

Just replace all 6 of them. Place "Arial" instead and let me know if this fixes your issue.

Hello PhantomDeejay
replacing it with "Arial" does not change anything.
ÄÄÄÄ ÖÖÖÖ ÜÜÜ are shown correctly in the VDJ default skin, as well as in "BlackSheepPro".
Maybe this helps to compare the string.
I will be happy to continue to be available if further tests are necessary.
So good luck

UPDATE!
could be that I have edited a WRONG XML - then no changes are visible.
Today I will search for the correct XML, which is assigned to the installed skin.
Sorry

just in case ... often the "false issue" is... forgetting to use the "skinname (edit)" instead of "skin name" once edited

Hi, PhantomDeejay
please what are the SKIN VARIANTS in SilverSleek3 called: "2-deck" and "4-deck" so that they can be entered in the command line?

P.S. I have now successfully mapped the customer buttons from SilverSleek3 to Vector.

Hello PhantomDeejay,
Skin Vectro / Performance:
there's the OPTION: Central Area.
a) WISHING for an UPDATE: Please "animate" in such a way that clicking into the skin interface will "switch" from one variant to the next.
b) Please publish a "command line" here, which can be placed on a customer button to switch ONE variant.
c) Please, the same as b), but as a "circular chain", with each click from "A to B to C to D to A etc.".

<item text="Scratch Waves" action="set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 0" />
<item text="Audio Mixer" action="set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 1" />
<item text="Video" action="set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 2" />
<item text="Custom Buttons" action="set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 3" />

Cycle all:
cycle '@$Vectro_L11CP' 4

Thanks for the fast mail.
But unfortunately NO reaction at the skin, when I copy your line into the customer button area.

not the entire line, this was part of the skin to see what actions/variables it's using..
So just..
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 0
or
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 1
or
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 2
or
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 4
or
cycle '@$Vectro_L11CP' 3

Correction:
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 0
or
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 1
or
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 2
or
set '@$Vectro_L11CP' 3
or
cycle '@$Vectro_L11CP' 4

Be Happy - Great Function
Big Thanks

Hi, PhantomDJ
In the ORIGINAL (default) skin of VDJ the "TAB" key is a selector key and shows the "work deck".
All other functions then refer to it.
The selected deck (1 / 2 / 3 or 4) is indicated by SHIFTING the number COLOR.

Such behaviour is also available in the VECTRO-Skin: Setting: PREPARATION - but NOT in the other views.
PLEASE: retrofit this CLEAR function also for the other views of the VECTRO-Skin, that also there you can change from 1>2>3>4>1... with the TAB key.

The function is there. There's just no visual indicator to show the "selected" deck.

To be honest, Vectro was designed with controllers in mind, and not for mouse/keyboard usage. That's why a lot of stuff is missing on many views.
If I'm going to touch the skin in the future I may add a "selected" deck indicator somewhere. But I don't make any promises!
