Sujet: Edison scratch 2500mkiv timecode setup

I have a Edison scratch 2500mkiv cd/usb type mixer. It has a built in sound card but everytime i atempt to set up my timecode it just plays the tone signal.it picks up but i cant get the music to play through my system can someone please help me out here.
