Sujet Hear mic in headphone mix Pioneer DDJ-SB2

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have a Pioneer DDJ-SB2, and would like to hear my mic in the headphones. I can hear the mic on the main out, but would like to hear it through my headphones as well. I would assume its volume would be on the headphone levels through the Master not the Cue. Is this even possible?

The Microphone Input of the DDJ-SB2 is not part of the controller's USB Audio Interface and its signal is processed by the hardware and directly routed to the Master Output of the device.
It cannot be included in the Audio setup of VirtualDJ, so cannot be processed/recorded/broadcasted from VirtualDJ.
For that, you will need to plug your microphone to an input of a different sound card (e.g. your computer's built-in mic/line input or any other USB sound card with inputs), then add a "mic" input line in your VirtualDJ Audio setup using that sound card.
Once you do this, you will be able to hear the Microphone (along with your Mix) to Headphones if the CUE/MIX knob is set to MIX (maximum)

Thanks, this is useful for someone wanting to do this with their controller.
