Sujet: Delete characters in the search engine

Hello

is there an action or script to remove characters in the search engine
instead of deleting it with the mouse on the button
because I did not find the action.

note: it is two apostrophes with nothing between them

Ha - yeah or that. I've always used my suggestion. But either works. ;)

I personally use just one keyboard key to both set focus to Search and clear.
Just ... 
search

Sets focus to Search, if focus is already in Search, it clears the entry
 
works very well also handling
