VirtualDJ - Virtual DJ 2021 Wont Install (fr)

I have a 64 bit Window's 10 laptop and it won't update and install the latest version of Virtual DJ 2021. During the install it says, "The specified account already exists". My Virtual DJ is still on 2020 not the latest version.

Might be the program is still running in the background or something corrupted.

This is happening to me too, it happened after i tried deleting VDJ's files manually. I wanted to completely remove and reinstall VDJ because the 2021 update messed up 'effect_select'. Now im also stuck with this install error, "The specified account already exists". Im considering reinstalling windows completely :/ i would guess the error is from a certain license file or registry key.
UPDATE: The windows troubleshooter fixed it for me https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed

Uninstall virtual dj 2020 and install the virtual dj 2021. It will work.

No. You must use Wisdoms 10 64 bit.

Hello amigo.
Use revo uninstaller to remove vdj propely, if you have your playlists, Hoitcue etc i suggest first you save them apart.
try to use ccleaner to finish to remove any trace of vdj in the windows registry.
normally it's going to work.
