I downloaded Virtual DJ 2021 from www.virtualdj.com

You are on Windows 10 64bit you meant?
And if so, what does the error say when you try install? Or perhaps when you try run?
Direct X - Update video card drivers perhaps?

Had the same issue I had to update my nvidia drivers and it installed..hope it helps peace

I am having the same issue with a Windows 10 Pro Version, 64 Bit, with an Intel Video Chipset. Tried the video driver update suggestion through Intel without success. Is this something VDJ is aware of and solving?

Why not to simply use top banner ?
VIRTUALDJ logo (from homepage big DOWNLOAD button)
or "Download" tab or download menu "virtualdj" ^^
if you want it as a link rightclick and copy link ^^

Sure the message says that?
VDJ either opens its own database, or creates a new one.. ..
Maybe it saying something else, like "Itunes database" or "Database Error,. want to fix?"

I install it on my MacBook, no problems.
Do you have fixed internet ? Is your firewall not blocking Virtual DJ ?
Login to Virtual DJ with your email and password, normally than it must work

Configuration for VirtualDJ 2021 - Some assistance/experience pls.
Hi I have Virtual DJ Pro 2021, which I am using with a numark mix platinum fx, which works well enough.
I will also be making use of an akai mpd 218 if needed to assign additional keys to.
The issue is I was much more familiar with earlier versions of VDJ, can't put figure on as to why, but I just found it easier for me to sample on the fly, use effects, assign effects to keys etc.
This means I am now using just a fraction of the functionality that I used to and also I am using the mouse and keyboard way more than I had hoped to, the only difference being that the use of stems is super simple.
The aim will be to end up with a more workable standard config, which I can safe for use on both my laptop and my desktop computer
I wonder if anyone can help with a step by step guidance. I would like to achieve the following:
1.) Set up sample library (how to quickly sample live and assign these to pads during a mix)
2.) How to assign functions to the pads and buttons on the MPD218
3.) How to use a midi keyboard to play notes over a mix using the samples.
Any other assistance on a recommended setup/settings that I can copy would be greatly appreciated

I want tobuy the latest version of Virtual DJ 2021 pro.
So I downloaded the free VDJ and tested this version.
I wll use the software for a great jubilee party and there I need a functionell Version.
With the free version I have some problems with the audio and video channel.
If you can garant, that the new version of the VDj 2021 Pro is working well than I will order.

Should work all well yes ;-)
As for audio & video mentioned, I suppose you mean you had a notice that said it required a license (such as advanced audio, video logo etc)

I did install it, it worked with the numark party mix, for about a week.
Now Virtual DJ wil not work anymore.
If I click the icon it seems like it will start (the sandhour starts turning) 2 seconds and then nothing..
I tried removal, renewal, even erased all the registry entry's and restart, fresh install. Same problem.
I can not open Virtual DJ anymore! HELP

Not sure from your description..
But maybe you are using a corrupted skin or something..
in /documents/virtualdj/ delete the file settings.xml
Then start VirtualDJ and all should be ok ;-)

I have a problem with installing the latest version of virtual DJ...The set up can't be completed and It tells me that there is an error in creating a temporary file that is needed for the installation...I see that many others have also problems and cannot install it...So what i have to do?
