Hello, I'd like to remove and do a new install of VDJ. My library has a lot of virtual folders that i'd like to keep and have in the new install. Can anyone advise me on what i should do to back up and move my virtual folders?
Thanks

Hello,
Solution 1
There are two very important files to backup
The Database file which contains all the data information of the cue points, BPM, Rating, title, artist etc…
The Settings file which contains all your settings etc ...
After the new installation these two files you put it in the VirtualDJ folder and overwrite these two new files (Database and Settings)
Solution 2 which particularly concerns you.
You can also save the VirtualDJ folder which contains all the vdj files and folders (Skin, effect, sample, folder folder, playlist etc ...)
After the new installation, you can place the VirtualDJ folder in the Windows Documents folder and overwrite the new VirtualDJ folder

Or you can run a full backup from within the software. Far easier.

You won't lose anything. Have faith (but do a backup first)!

Can see a bit of where VirtualDJ stores what, here:

Should it be of interest ;-)
