Sujet: History

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Have had a few issues, most of which I have straightened out.
Now I cannot figure why when I open the program (VDJ) I cannot see
the history folder 2020. But when I check the my documents/virtual folder,
the folder 2020 is there.

Does the 2020 folder contain anything at all ?
 
Yes it has folders in it by months

Is it copied over from other computer?
 
Nope.
Would that make a difference if it was copied?
Asking because I may be getting another computer
and will have it mirrored to this one.

Probably nothing, but in theory permission/ownership folder issues. But unlikely.


Can try right-click the "History" and choose "Hide".
Then in the small dot at left side browser toolbar, choose "Reset Root Folders", just to check if a refresh fixes it.
 
I right click history and the did not see option to "hide".
I went to properties. and in general tab there is
"attributes" hidden. Is that the one?

Unfortunately it did not work.
Folder 2020 still does not appear.

Just curious, is it set to hidden, since you mentioned that? (in Windows folder properties)
If so that could explain ..

I just tried on my system, hiding one of the history folders via Windows. Makes no difference, still shows in VDJ.

I notice there's a M3U file that is also not showing. What version and build of VDJ are you running?

You could try an experiment. Rename the 2020 folder to say 2010 or something, and see if it shows then.
 
Version 6067. Renamed as suggested to no avail.
Still the same
 
What do you mean by "still the same"?

You renamed it to 2010 and there was no 2010 folder visible in VDJ?
 
Try creating a new folder them move the history files in to it.

See if that appears
 
groovindj Correct no visible folder. It is in the my docs/virtual folder.

kradcliffe Tried that previously by making a folder in mydocuments/virtualdj.
That did not work.

Also now the playlist folder in VDJ (program) does not appear; however
it s in the mydocuments/virtualdj folder.
 
At this stage it might be worth checking if perhaps the Documents folder in Windows itself is not working as you expect.
Maybe its set to OneDrive and the Documents folder there, or other location.

Or that OneDrive cloud sync is messing up something.
 
How can I check if it is not working?
How to check one drive as I never used it.?
Never changed anything, and it has been working
ever since I installed VDJ a few years ago.
 
Maybe one of the support team could remote in and have a look?
