I have many concert videos that I would like to build playlists for. I know I could cut em up with a video editor but I would prefer a playlist. With VLC, I can make a CUE file that specifies the start time for each song and allows a different title for each entry. I have not been able to get this to work with VDJ tho.
Currently i am setting a hotcue for each track and putting the track list in the comment field. This allows a basic search but is limited.
Anyone have a better solution?

maybe yes:
Video edit and select only one song at a time then edit name
this way you get every songs isolated but the original file still intact
can add the edited song to playlist as any other track
