@burnyabad don't be cryptic, the best way to resolve issues is giving full information;
what's the issues?
what device?
did you dl a driver? is it a x64 driver?

"it dunt work" could be a serious fault or a system specific fault, but without a hint you won't get a resolution, having made a couple of plugins, "pulling teeth" [teasing out fault information] is the worst bit.

Except my wallet tells a different story. High end gaming laptops stripped of all bloatware

The 64 bit version crashes to desktop on all three of my laptops regularly. All drivers updated. Video cards updated. Ssd drives with 16 gig ram and rtx cards 9th and 10th gen Intel i7s. .Windows 10 64. After moving back to 32 vdj ALL of my crashing.issues disappeared. I use a ddj rz and a ddj sz.

I use a Pioneer DDJ-RX and have seen not a single crash of VDJ at all.
64bit runs on a 64bit OS with a well maintained system just flawless.

Depending on the kind of laptop, what is the exact specs and modell?
On three machines sounds strange, maybe it is an issue with some of the "magic" system tools some brands are installing by default.
The "game booster/optimization/whatever magic".....

Are you running any 3rd party VST plugins? Is it a clean install of VDJ or backup?

If its a Dell or Alienware, you need to uninstall the Dell Hardware Wirzard.

1 is a dell. I did a wipe and load on the Dell without the Dell tools etc. Last night in 32 bit was flawless

Litle more details would be helpfull.
"a Dell" can be all and nothing.
exact hardware specs (CPU, RAM, Grafix, HDD/SSD, installed path of VDJ...)
Information about what is installed next to VDJ
Information about energy saving settings...

I can just repeat: I have so far not a single hick up with VDJ on 64bits.
Tested on a low performance machine and a high end machine....works charming.

Dude, top tier GAMING laptops from Dell and MSI. That means discreet gaming video cards, ssd and m.2 hard drives, etc. Dell XPS and MSI leapard laptops. 32 bit was flawless, Ran both machines all night and my other dj ran my 3rd laptop. Sticking with 32 bit 2020.
