Finally bit the bullet and invested the $$$$ on a full Nexus 2 system. I am 99% happy with how I have integrated the players into my VDJ workflow but have noticed that the ability to use the players touchsceen to type track names to search in VDJ is locked out. Is this something that can be enabled or is it a function not availible in VDJ? I know I can search with my laptop but if I had this functionality on the players I could close my laptop entirely and that'd be pretty darn cool. Cheers in advance

This feature is not available in Midi/Hid firmware.

The Denon Prime series players can do this, but maybe slightly too late for that now.

The Prime series is a different case, as it's allowing customizing the screen (On-Screen-Keyboard is part of the screen VirtualDJ GUI).
As for the CDJ, it's like that in all Pioneer MIDI/HID devices. The Search/Keyboard is only offered in Stand-alone mode, and Pioneer never bothered to implement that in any screen-device.
