I set up a range of virtual folders in VDJ, and used these to store links to my common used music from my library (e.g. 60's/70's etc). These folders could be seen in the root of the external drive i use to play out.
I hav recently reformatted this drive and reinstalled all the music folders from my backup location, including the virtual folder files. When I have reconnected the drive to VDJ, and recursed the DB - i still cannt see the virtual folders in VDJ.
How can i reconnect these virtual fodlers so i can access the music through them??

Sounds like this would be external drive.. since you said "reconnect"
Did you backup and restore the folder /virtualdj/ on the drive itself?
Thats where the folders are stored (for the music on that drive)
And if you did, perhaps read/write permissions, if you copied over from other computer/drive

if the drive is ok VDJ can see it in "Drives" letter or mount point may have changed
you can select all & right click "relocate missing file" to do the job
