Just want to check the PreSonus Studio 24c 2x2 will be suitable for connecting to VDJ with external controller. Basically bypass the controllers built in audio

Basically there are two things to consider:
1) You need an interface with 4 separate outputs (2 stereo) as a minimum requirement. If I'm not mistaken, Presonus 24c 2x2 as it's name implies is a 2 inputs, 2 outputs sound interface. Also don't get confused with the separate "headphones" port. That port is simply monitoring the master output.
2) Depending on your controller you may or may not able to bypass it's own sound interface successfully. I mean that technically it is possible for most controllers, but several controllers have built in firmware functions that make using an external sound interface too much of a trouble. On some cases you may even lose functions that the controller offers when you're using it's own sound interface.
With all of the above in mind, you should better first tell us which controller you use and you wish to bypass it's own audio interface in order to determine if it would worth the trouble or not.
Then, if it's possible without too much trouble, find an interface with FOUR (4) outputs as an absolute minimum.

OK so presonus works fine on it, not tested yet re latency but it works as a usb soundcard
