hi guys i've got the hercules impulse 300 and for some reason i cant get the headphone output to sound right its all distorted and all vocal then switching to all bass etc i've played around with the audio settings but still nothing i ended up buying an external usb sound card and using that which works but not what i want can anyone help am i missing something thanks dj mack

Are you on PC or Mac?
Supported controllers are plug & play, so when you connect the Inpulse, VDJ should detect it and pop up a dialog box asking if you want to use the Inpulse soundcard. Did that happen? Did you click 'yes'?
Did you check VirtualDJ's audio setting page? Is the Inpulse shown there under 'card'? If so, you can click that button to set the audio config.
If you're using PC, are you using WASAPI or ASIO? Did you download the Inpulse drivers? Does your audio config match what's shown in the VDJ Setup Guide for the unit?

ive downloaded the recent software and im using pc got all the correct software still not working
