This started out of the blue yesterday and so far will repeat each time i remove the external ssd and restart vdj8.
As far as virus or bad ssd scans do not indicate that.
And of course i click to remove my usb ssd i dont just yank it out.
So if i start vdj8 it will ask if i want it to fix the corruption and i will click yes and it fixes it and all works for that session until i shut things down and restart its corrupt again,
Iirc vdj saves a back up database which it uses to fix the bad one, but what if that saved one is corruted too, what then?
Since im very ocd i have several usb external drives which are all basically clones and i have been saving good databases at least appear to,
This doesnt answer the mystery why it keeps corrupting,
So any ideas?
Ill keep doing my testing,
Many thanks,
B

Host one of the "corrupt" databases at dropbox or something like, and link.
I'll have a look for anything that sticks out.
