Sujet: transfer play count
Hello guys.

Need some help. My hard drive is dying so i will be changing to a new one.

I know that if i copy the database and history folders over i can get that but what about play count?

i noticed that when i copy some songs over even if i copy the database the play count is not accurate. any way i can transfer that?

The play count is in the database file.
 
yeah but what if i change folders to the songs? seems like its not recognizing them as played if they are in different folders :/

bcs if i change to a new hard drive the path will probably be different so what does that mean? no play count?
 
like for example. my hard drive is called 2019, i got folder A there with 10 songs all show play count on the new pc after i transferred the database.

but if i copy that folder on one of the pc hard drives and open that through virtual dj instead there is no play count for the songs.

Hi how did you get sorted? I've been able to get all my history transfered to my new laptop but no the playcount or cue points?
