To provide some relevant info, so others can see what this is:
DJ runs Serato 3.0 stems on a cheap (£84.95 used from eBay) Windows laptop and it performs better than his expensive Mac.

I mean I was picking it apart as I watched [turning a stem on/off means nothing to a processor, the work is getting stems computed and in memory]
the same machine can handle vdj stems v1, for a home gamer,
