I am using pioneer sz2. When I start up and load a song volume all the way up ???
How to correct this ?

The SZ2 ( Owned one) was terrible. I had these problems for 3 weeks with vdj in 2018 and finally returned it for a ddj-rz2( Perfect controller)
I learned 2 things. Pioneer flat out sold a JUNK controller that was SOFTWARE controlled not HARDWARE controlled like the SZ1( which I still own and love) or the RZ2. Nothing I tried in 2019 could fix the 100% volume on any new song load and/or any sample. It was a bloody nightmare and I almost lost my residency over it. Return it. I had to use my main mixer input board to manually turn channel volume down each new song load.
Note: VDJ support def tried to help me at this time. Before returning it check to see if a firmware update is available. I remember the ddj-1000 had similar problems until a firmware update was released because 2 of my dj friends could not use their controllers with vdj. Rekord box worked fine with it. Who knows... trying to help
