I'm on VDJ v2023 b7482 and have been trying to get my Denon SC3900 working in MIDI mode.
In MIDI mode, the platter doesn't spin up when I hit the Play/Pause button. Is there something special I need to do to start the unit playing in Vinyl mode? I see that there is a "PLATTER_ON" in the MIDI mapping, but there doesn't seem to be a button on the unit that can trigger it.

PLATTER_ON is the command that starts the motor. You should not mess with it.
Just open settings, search for vinylMode and enable it on all decks.

I've tried with controls-->vinylMode set to "Yes" and "Per Decks" with both decks selected, but still no motion from the platter.
Anything else I should check or try?

Does the platter spin without virtualdj? like playing CDs do they spin?
