Hope it's not a bother but I need some help.
repeat_start vocupdown ? repeat_stop vocupdown : stem vocal 0% ? repeat_start vocupdown 5ms 50 & stem vocal +1% : repeat_start vocupdown 5ms 50 & stem vocal -1%
Mapped to a key this script does instruments only up down gradually and works fine.
I need one for vocals only the same way the above one functions. I've tried but can't seem to get it.
I would also like if this functions on the default deck rather than the active deck when i press the key.
I would really appreciate the help. Thanks.

try fullvocal
just vocal is for 5 part stems, for ez it's fullvocal, and modern it's melovocal
as for the deck
you have
deck master
deck active
or the not selected deck
deck 1 select ? deck 2 stem thing : deck 1 stem thing
shouldn't your compare be 50%?
