Sujet Quantize defeat
Is there any way to temporarily turn off quantization on the fly for tracks that have an “off” beatgrid? I don’t want to edit beatgrids.

quantize_all as an action, is actually a toggle. So, it would turn on/off quantization every time it's used.
So, isn't that what you're looking after ?

I'm a beginner on VDJ. I don't know what that means.

Quantization is normally something that you turn on.
So, in the exact same way, with the same button you can turn it off.

Unless you don't actually mean quantization, but rather some of the "smart" automations VirtualDJ offers (like auto BPM match, auto pitch lock e.t.c.

So, do I have to go into options to temporarily turn it off?

No. Quantize_all just needs to be added to the script on your button of choice.
