Sujet Setting up a AKAI MPK mini mk3 with VDJ
hi, i hope you are all having fun with all the different festivities around the corner!

this is going to be sounding very badly beginer esque but im not a beginer ive been vinyl DJing since 1999, (and producing on studio based software since 2001) had to give up when i got put into residential care for adults with severe or profound autism, then a couple of years ago i got back into it digitaly,i use a very high end bespoke built laptop (got it made for my 40th birthday this year),VDJ,for the life of me i cant remember the name of the controler i have its a pioneer all in one-it might be one of the FLXs i think, im pysicaly disabled so i cant get up to look, its in a flightcase on my floor,, i do actualy have the money for high end controlers and id have purchased them long ago-i am extremely into the tech but im under a apointee (im unable to look after my money or life so my apointee oficialy acts in place of me like a power of atorney-she has no understanding of DJ technology and wont let me have a decent setup, like me you woud all be rolling your eyes if you were told constantly 'but they all do the same thing') . i have severe classic autism, mild intelectual disability and severe epilepsy which has caused a lot of memory damage, the reason im mentioning all of this is they all impact my ability to understand and process complex stuff but i do try to do what i can.,

im just wondering if anyone can explain to me how to get my AKAI MPK mini mk3 running inside VDJ? i pay for VDJ pro sub so i can use controlers,i also tried to use it in FL2024 (I havent got a clue what to do,this is my first time tinkering with midi keyboards), but im determined to do it.

thinking about it,im wondering if its to do with mapping as my VDJ does recognise thre keyboard, it just doesnt seem to know what to do (like myself lol).

thankyou,i really apreciate any help at all, cheers.
