Hi, I hope that this is not a stupid question. I'm a not professional Trainer for line dance and I use the virtualDJ to play the music. Now I bought the DIJ micro-2 and want during the music is playing to tell the students what they have to do. Additional I want to explain something via the same way as I play the music but the music is not switched on. Unfortunately all what I want to do doesn't work. The microphone is correctly installed. What can I do or is that function not possible ? Thanks for your help. Willi

This may inspire you, even though it's for an older version:

Thanks a lot Klaus, it works ! Unfortunately the latency is extremely (about 1s) ? Can I reduce it ?

It depends on the driver (which is usually also where you set it in a small ASIO config window)
And also if the sample rates match, so you don't have constant conversions
For instance if this gives you a good enough audio quality, the latency should "only" be around 15ms
That sounds pretty much instant to me - although if you were a drummer recording your drumset and had in-ear monitoring while playing, it would most likely be too slow. But for speaking it's fine:

I haven't the possibility to change that. I use an MacBookPro with MacOS and the name of the mic-input is Wireless Microphone RX ?!

Google tells me the mic has a Bluetooth connection. That's what causes the latency.
DJs generally will use a wired mic, connected directly to an audio interface or their controller. If you really must have wireless then look for something that uses VHF/UHF (as used by singers etc).

Thanks, the DJI Mic2 has the possibillity to use the bluetooth but I didn’t use it. So I use now the mic with a separate amplifier and box for my voice and the computer with VDJ and a bluetooth soundbox for the music. That works fine.
Thanks a lot for all help.
