Sujet: Trouble playing music
Could someone please tell me why my songs from Deezer are marked in red but songs in my other folders are marked as green star, songs marked in red from Deezer crackle. But when playing my other tunes market green star don't crackle. How's that? all those folders you see those songs in those folders are marked green star and work perfectly

A red globe on the icon means that the track comes from the internet (in your case as you said Deezer)
A green star track means that the track is new to your collection.

What's important to keep here is "red globe" vs "no globe"
When a track does NOT have a red globe, it means that it's a local file played by your local hard drive.
When a track has a red globe, it means that this track is getting streamed from the internet.
If your internet service is not good enough, or your WiFi reception is poor at the spot, there's always a chance that playback and streaming (download of data) play a "catch up" where the song may crackle as VirtualDJ receives data "just in time" to decode and playback.

Thanks for replying but my WiFi signal is perfect as my computer is rite next to the WiFi box

My main point was that since those files are streamed it is possible for several reasons to have them time out.

Anyway, now that you know why there is this difference in playback performance you can troubleshoot further your issue and explore your options
