Sujet: Mapping issue with HID mode link CDJ3000!!
After linking VDJ to CDJ, there are currently three issues that I am unable to solve.
1. The JOG of CDJ will become inaccurate as the BPM changes. It should rotate once, regardless of the BPM, the corresponding waveform and notch on the display screen should rotate once. However, no matter how I adjust the JogSensitivity Scratch option value, as long as the BPM of the song changes, the turntable will not be accurate. Is this a bug or do I need to adjust other options!! This is very urgent!
The TOUCH/BANK knob on CDJ3000 does not match the actual position. After connecting to VDJ, VDJC displays the physical knob name of TOUCH/BANK on CDJ3000 as STOP_TIME. Linking VDJ to make the TOUCH/BANK knob on CDJ3000 point to the 8 o'clock position has the same effect as when not connecting to VDJ and pointing to the 12 o'clock position. I want the TOUCH/BREAK knob to achieve the effect when not connected to VDJ after connecting to VDJ. How should I set it up
3. I mapped the HOUCUE button of CDJ3000 to the corresponding PAD-PAGE, but only the HOUCUE LED color is displayed, while other PAD-PAGE PAD LEDs do not display any color. However, the S11 PAD will display the corresponding color that I have set. How do I need to set it so that the HOTCUE LED of CDJ3000 displays the color corresponding to my PAD?
Finally, may I ask which SMPTE TIMECODE software VDJ can use? My club is currently using ShowKontrol, but ShowKontrol cannot recognize the ripples output by VDJ in CDJ3000. I really need the support of SMPTE TIMECODE software and hope that VDJ can have SMPTE TIMECODE software in the future!!

What is the rpm option in virtualdj set to?

No matter you change it to 33 45 4BEAT, the JOG is not accurate.

Did you try the 4 Beat option for RPM?

Just an aside, this:

Is probably not true overall (e.g. with a real turntable, which is what I think the CDJ is trying to emulate) - the RPM of the turntable (controlled by its speed controls) + the BPM of the original track will both determine just how much of track you'll hear in one complete revolution, and that will change if you change either value (turntable speed or BPM of the track).

The RPM setting probably sets the reference turn speed for the track to be considered playing at the default BPM stated, and using that default reference turn speed (33 1/3, 45, 78) with different BPM tracks would give different # of revolutions to complete a bar. There would be only 1 BPM value of a song that would fit the 1 revolution = 1 bar mold (e.g. for 33 1/3, I think that would be 99.999... (basically 100 BPM).
For the setting of 4 Beat it probably adjusts the reference rotation speed based on the BPM desired to make it look like 1 rotation always, but that isn't normal.

So how can I set it up so that the JOG is accurate? I have also searched the forum for related posts, but I haven't found a solution. Can you tell me how to make the CDJ JOG accurate? I don't understand the specific principle, I just need a solution!

This should be it 👆🏾(it is one of the selections in the drop down and controls what is seen on the skin, but given @Adion gave yhat suggestion, it may work for digital Jog displays as well). If that doesn't work then ask the devs here (they probably would chime in).

Please note, I'd bet (I don't have a CDJ 3000 to check in front of me), the the behavior you are seeing is what happens in Serato and other software + standalone.
Please note, the behavior isn't wrong in principle - this is the behaviour you would get when using turntables with its physical sticker location, and you can't change the behavior there.

The needle on the cdj 3000 is derived from the time, so only if the RPM matches the cdj 3000 firmware it will match the movement. So RPM should be set to 33, and then the needle movement should follow the rotation movement of the jog.

If the movement changes by bpm, it might also be the mapper for the time that is incorrect.
Make sure to test with mapping set to factory default

I'm a club DJ, working in various clubs and using at least 10 CDJ3000s. The jog function is always inaccurate.
How can I make the jog function more accurate?
