Reverb sounds horrendously hissy with the brightness at 100% and much more what I'm looking for at 0%, is there a way to set the Reverb default brightness to 0% and have it stick across all decks or is this something I will need to do on every launch of VirtualDJ?

Just set both to zero here and it stayed the same after a restart. Check your home folder location isn't read only or has a permissions issue. It can be found by clicking here:

Thank you so much!! For some reason my VirtualDJ folder had read only set on it, I must've done that at some point or its from copying across my Home folder between devices.
