Hoping maybe someone can help or has experienced the same thing and knows a fix...
while DJ-ing a wedding this weekend, i was in the middle of a dance set - 1 song on deck 2, playing to the crowd...i went to drop a track in deck 1 to start mixing in....virtual suddenly froze - but not froze in the traditional sense. It continued to play the song on deck 2, but i had no control over deck 1. none of my hotspots would load and i pressed a pre-set, i couldn't adjust tempo - i was in such a panic, i don't remember if i tried switching to another song on deck 2 or not - i think i did, but i honestly can't recall....right away, i plugged in a backup laptop which i foolishly didn't have loaded up.
i eventually shut down VDJ and restarted the program on my main laptop, and it started up just fine - worked for about another 90 mins, than during another song, the track stopped - i had another song already to go, luckily on the other deck.
i've had this Windows 10 laptop for about 2 years - never had an issue - its not connected to wifi for updates to avoid any potential issues....i have no idea what happened or why and now i'm petrified to do my next wedding on NYE
