Sujet: DDJ XP2 Mappings
I am new to VDJ and was wondering if anyone has a mapping for the XP2 that integrates stems, beat jump, hot cues, transport controls etc. Thanks very much!

Welcome to VirtualDJ🍺.

To answer some of your questions:

The DDJ-XP2 is natively supported/mapped for VirtualDJ and largely has pad mappings for most of what you described already (at least Beatjump, Hotcues):

https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/pioneer/ddjxp2/layout/pads.html

I'm not sure if any of the stems pages (Stems, Stems+FX) are already mapped, but you could easily assign them to a pad mode button sequence (see Pad Page Controller Assignment here)

For transport controls, you might have to make a pad page for that (see the same link above and the VDJScript Wiki).

Yes, persons here can map the controller further for you (there are many vdjscript experts like @locodog, the devs and other forum members that most likely would have scripts written up for you in record time), but the power of VirtualDJ is learning how to make those changes yourself.

Ok thanks for all the great info!

Thanks for this. Do you know anyway to copy and move this layout to Pad Mode 1? It’s a pain to have to use the shift button to get to this secondary level….

You want to follow what you see here

Plug the controller in, right click the pads and select what pads you want where (you want transport to move to one click of Pad Mode 1 button, so go to that entry in the context menu and select the same thing you see for where it is mapped currently under Shift + Pad Mode 4).
