Sujet: Error when loading track
It already happened 2 times and don't know why it happens or how to solve.
After I load a track that is stored on my internal SSD, I get an error in the player, just 'ERROR'
When I rightclick on the track, load it in the Finder (Mac OS), the .mp3 song starts to play in a 3th party music player.
I did many things to solve, move the track to another folder, reload, restarted VDJ but the error always comes up.
Hope someone has the correct tip to solve

I did many things to solve, renamed the track, re-edit in VDJ some track data, moved the track to another folder, reloaded and restarted VDJ but the error always remains for a few files.

You can open the tag editor to see the full path at the bottom which might explain why the file wasn't found at that location
 
Believe that the same path is used by right-clicking the track and use the command 'open in Finder'.
All seems okay but for some reason some files are giving Error.
 
I found that the problem has to do with the mp3 encoder, I suppose.

Files with a problem, that cannot be loaded showing all as Audio: 0 channels, 0 Hz

But I repeat: an MP3 player, plays the file without any problem
 
This can also happen if the file is not actually an mp3 file. You could try renaming to m4a and see if it loads then, and check what the tag editor says about the file type on that case

Now it gives: error opening file (moov atom not found).
Changed again to mp3 but remains the same

There is no doubt the file is mp3 audio.
It plays correctly with INNA (Mac OS mp3 player)

I do further investigation. Wanted to find the kind of encoding for this mp3 file.
When I try to open (import) in Apple Music, it also doesn't start.
This is so weird. The file ever played in VDJ and INNA is able to play it....

So the problem with this track is that it is in fact an aac (m4a) file inside, but because the file extension was mp3, it also got an id3v2 header, which makes it an invalid m4a file as well...
 
Thanks, and what's the easiest way to solve this?
Possible in VDJ without any external software?
