If a feature has been unsupported and not recommended for use in almost 20 years it would be better to use the current solution.

You write that the skin has not been designed - but it is still in the program. From one deck this approach is unprofessional, even amateur. I understand that you, as a DJ, play music only from one deck at various events.

Not sure what you think is unprofessional...there is one useability issue (the skin), and a few professionals and devs telling you how professionals use it for real gigs and then there's, well....you.
Summary: Yes, there is something that could be fixed here. Is it a showstopper? Nope.
Up to you to take the advice or be stuck 🤷🏾♂️, but most professionals would take the advice, and get ready for the next gig using the tip, as opposed to being stuck (which might mean loss of gigs that you would have lined up because of it).

I would just like to make you aware that you probably play on many decks and automix should be on at least two decks. As for professionals, they are also wrong and it is not always worth listening to them - unfortunately, I have been in many cases where the professional was wrong. Because this is not a topic for this forum.

I didn't think about that. Generally, what I mean is that if a DJ plays from two or more decks, when playing automix on the screen, he should play from at least two decks, not one. Because it's not professional and it looks amateurish. And so that no one would come to him and say that he plays automix on one deck. I have the impression that you don't know life yet.

There really isn't any substance to the claim (the audience cannot tell if you are using automix, or if yiu sre using one or two decks for it, and as stated before, you can argue if you are depending on automix in this way you aren't doing much in the ways of the profession)...OP just wants it changed because of comfort.
However professionals, given a way forward, don't nitpick, they point it out and try to get back to a working state quickly.
It's actually a little weird how much time was spent on this, given the suggestions already given and know to work in this case.
So OP: you've made your point on the skin (one dev has already pointed out agreement and will probably fix it or suggest how you can). Others have made their point on how to get running despite the problem.
Everybody involved is professional (not just you).
It really doesn't make sense to argue any more for on the topic because it doesn't get you over the finishline - it's really either you take the advice, or you wait for the fix.

But how do you imagine it? That people at the wedding don't see that the music on the big screen is played from one deck.

If a wedding hinged on automix titles being displayed then a lot of people wouldn't be able to do the job, just be nature of software used.

DJs can play weddings without using screens. I've done so many times.
Even with a screen, you don't have to show song titles.
If you're so concerned that clients won't respect you because you're using one deck, then just display the track titles without showing which deck is being used. I do that on my Twitch streams. It's just a title plugin.

Of course you are right, no need to use it. Only I write how someone uses screens. I'd love to watch your streams on Twitch, just give me some information on where to find them.
