Sujet: Need quick help
Where do vdj save the "Linked" songs ?
I use external usb drives and have modified a lot of songs on my main computer, now when I shift to my laptop and connect my external hdd there is no sign of my "linked" tracks ??

Will either be database.xml or extra.db
 
linked songs are in extra.db
 
Do I need to change the extra.db from my main computer then, or shuld this be on my external drive?
 
Should be one that travels with the external for tracks that are on the external, the one in the home folder are for tracks that are on C:\...

Maybe your linked setting on laptop isn't referencing active deck [check options dot on linked header]

it is exactly the same on both computers, now I will try to copy/paste my vdj program folder to laptop (not the licence) and see if this will help some how?
 
You don't need the whole folder, just the extra.db file

That was the problem, the extra.db file from my main computer was copied to the laptop with success.

Problem now is, all the files that is scanned that I have on my laptop will be gone.

I hope this can be fixed with just one db.file that saves all data on the hdd that have the files, or save it in the program folder ;)
