Sujet: Editing a song and re-importing into VDJ
Is it possible to edit a song and then import it back into VDJ without losing the metadata, cue-points, linked songs, etc? I will probably save the edited song as a Flac, rather than re-encode it as an mp3. I don't want VDJ to treat it as a new song.

As the same file type yes, just overwrite it in the same location. As a different file type no.
